The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was nice and roomy. Hotel staff was nice; the location is great!
Disliked: No closets! And the noisy renovations to the hotel. Only one elevator working.

Liked: Good location
Disliked: The rooms are small, breakfast can be way better and was a complete disappointment. I had also asked for an earlier check in but they were barely ready with the room at 3pm which is the official check in time. Good location and decent value since this is in the heart of Manhattan. But overall disappointing experience.

Disliked: I asked the room to be serviced but then told I had to do it the day before. Which was not what I was told when I checked in. Staff was ok not that friendly.

Couldn't have asked for more!
Liked: The hotel is truly beautiful, the café and restaurant's menu delicious (the café staff needs a raise just for having to repeat to each guest with ENDLESS patience what breakfast items are included with their night's stay!!), and the location just perfect for NYC without a stamped of tourists at your doorstep.
But the highlight of The Evelyn is its amazing staff. ALL OF THEM go above and beyond to make one's stay the comfortable and relaxing break we all seek after hours of exploring the city.
They were all so incredibly kind, professional and accommodating in the midst of this health crisis, one can't help but wonder what service must be like in normal times.
De'marcus in particular is a true leader and as gracious as others have described. He exudes genuine passion for the travel industry and embodies what customer service excellence ought to be.

Liked: Loved everything. The location. The service. Staff was friendly and attentive. Loved the decor.
Disliked: We really liked everything. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the noise from the plumbing it wld knock but thats probably unavoidable

Liked: Andre from the front desk was very attentive and friendly. All the staff at the front desk were professional and polite. The room was clean!
Disliked: The hallway on the 3rd floor smelled like weed.
