The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was nice and roomy. Hotel staff was nice; the location is great!

Disliked: No closets! And the noisy renovations to the hotel. Only one elevator working.

Great stay in Midtown Manhattan

Liked: Great location in a safe part of Manhattan, very close to Madison Square Park. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and relatively quiet. We were impressed with the breakfast! Good breakfast sandwiches and lattes.
Disliked: The room is fairly small, but perfectly serviceable, and no smaller than most NYC hotels.

Disliked: Only very minor issue was the hot water for the shower took a long time to heat up, so you had to wait a few minutes before it stopped being freezing cold

Liked: Wonderful staff who remember me every time I return. Great bar restaurant Tusk. Perfect location to go uptown or downtown. Great coffee and dining within walking distance.
Disliked: The AM coffee shop needs an overhaul.
