Potential to be great

Liked: The location was great and we had a beautiful sea view from our room.The beer garden also overlooked the bay and was lovely to sit out in.The price was good but we got what we paid for!
Disliked: The hotel is undergoing refurbishment and our room definitely needed it. The decor was extremely dated with cracked window panes.There wasn't a hairdryer or iron in the room as stated, although these are available at reception. We were woken by a false fire alarm at 7.20am so didn't get the relaxing lie in we were hoping for.

Disliked: Room was very tired and dated. No hairdryer supplied as standard. Bathroom was was very mouldy round shower screen and unpleasant. That said some refurbishment was being done but not in that floor to my knowledge.

Liked: Room was ok, very clean, very spacious. Breakfast was ok, nothing special.
Disliked: hallways were scruffy, receptionist couldn’t find my booking, then asked me to pay when I already had, said it didn’t include breakfast but it did

Great value super hotel with...

Liked: Easy to find, easy to park, warm welcome, spacious room with views, comfortable bed, nice breakfast served by smiling and attentive staff. Fantastic value for money.
