Liked: Nothing very dirty
Disliked: Breakfast time 1 time only for everyone or no breakfast Asked for clean plate brought me in with dried food stuck to it Bath not clean Room dirty outdated Everything was dusty even the kettle and cups Hand sanitiser at lift was disgusting mucky is a understatement !Inside lift not cleaned the full weekend we stayed here

Liked: The view from the room was excellent. The hotel was clean and well presented. The room was clean and comfortable. The entertainment was very good.
Disliked: Before we had the chance to even introduce ourselves, when we turned up the first thing the gentleman on reception said was, "I think that you are in the wrong hotel" despite the fact that we had a booking number and confirmation from booking.com. however they did manage to find us a room. At breakfast time the lady at reception was waiting for us to leave our room and when she saw us she followed us towards the breakfast room to stop us joining the other guests. She sat us in a reception room near a cold window and open door . Other guests were sitting around us with their coats on waiting to board their coach. She told us that there was no room for us in the breakfast room. Which wasn't true. See photo which clearly shows that it was far from full. The breakfast was very cold and dried up. The egg was like rubber . If you are not part of the coach party they treat you like a second class citizen. We didn't eat our breakfast despite having paid for it. We were not offered a refund and had to buy a nice breakfast from a nearby cafe called the conservatory coffee shop.

Trouble filled stay for a...

Liked: The hotel provided free parking.The hotel was big and the Christmas decorations felt nice.
Disliked: Room heaters not working. We had to wait 1 Hr to get low power detachable room heaters.The electronic ports in room were not working so couldn't charge any device.Staff took another 1 Hr to find a replacement room.Insincere staff.Bad service.Bathroom was too cold.

Liked: The location was ideal. Very close to the seaside and Scaborough Spa venue. The ladies staff were friendly and accommodating. We have to changed the room, as the first room was draughty from broken window.
Disliked: The hotel room is outdated and seen better days. I wish the hotel management give it a proper tlc. The rooms look tatty, curtains falling off from the rail, beds were uncomfortable. Furniture was really old. My husband and I are Engineers and it saddens us to see a dilapidated building.

Clean good value would book...
