overall it was good if...

Liked: it was just next to downtown, so it was quick to get out of waikiki for day trips by car or walk from there to waikiki beach, ana moana beach, waikiki „downtown“. parking space downstairs or opposite in a public garage. price value for waikiki
Disliked: the hotel was quite old, stairs to get into the hotel, it’s on a main street so street noise. what was really annoying is that we got a room with a door to use as two double rooms so through that door you could hear everything from the other room, even ripping open a package of coffee. also upstairs felt like a little earth quake

satisfactory

Liked: The front desk staff accommodated my request for a room change to a quieter room. The staff are nice and the location is good.
Disliked: There is no fan in the washroom so it gets steamy. The first 3 nights were noisy until 10pm because our room was across from the hotel bar and the walls are thin.

Boutique Hotel accross The Prince...

Liked: Simple but very comfortable. It was very close to our work/event location The Prince Waikiki. Walking distance to the Ala Moana Mall. Plenty of food options. Close to the Ala Moana Mall.There was a small, intimate bar on the first floor. They gave us complimentary drink per person which was really good (the punch- forgot the name)They had an acoustic singer that Saturday which was a treat after a long work day. He sang really well and song selection was great. If you want a relaxing night - far from the crowded, noisy Waikiki beach.. this is a great option!
Disliked: They can change the carpet (although it wasn’t a deal breaker for me)

A perfect last-day hub with...

Liked: The check-in & valet staff were very welcoming. We only used it as a last day hub & did not sleep there, as we flew out same day. Loved being able to park right there since I am pregnant and traveling with a toddler & family.
Disliked: Nothing.

The price being lower than...

Liked: Staff was excellent, friendly, attentive.The Paniolo bar had a traditional feel. It was an inviting enviornment.
Disliked: The room decor being throwback style was fine, but the completely worn out fabric on the wingback sitting chair and the uncomfortably hard mattress need to be improved.Low water pressure in shower also not a good thing.Needing to park offsite is a big problem even though the lot near Red Lobster isn’t far it also is inconvenientand an uncovered walk during foul weather conditions.
