Wonderful weekend in Charlottesville and...

Liked: Well maintained and clean facility with a good location and a fantastic hot breakfast. Will keep using the English Inn.
Disliked: Nothing!

Short. Will not return.

Disliked: The 1st room we were given had horrible mold in the bathroom on the wall and on the exhaust fan. I went to the front desk and was able to get another room. I don't know how the cleaning staff could miss it. It is a health hazard. My wife and I could smell it when we walked in.

Disliked: The sheets and the tails were very hard.They could have been softer. The bed was a little hard .

Liked: Near UVA, good parking, very clean, comfortable bed, and a nice breakfast buffet in a pleasant dining room. Breakfast staff were very good natured and friendly. The small kitchen was clean and equipped with all the essentials.
Disliked: My room was in a separate building facing the road and heavy traffic. The lighting was cold and overly bright and the decor, all white with gray carpeting, was grim with no warmth or charm, and the sofa was dirty. The Reception check-in person was not friendly or welcoming and we were the only people checking in at the time.
