100% unpleasant stay. Not recommended...
Disliked: 1: Staff was rude and unhelpful. Arrived at 14:00, check in was at 15:00. They said the room WAS READY but however didn?t let me get in until 15:00. Ruining my schedule. People working in hospitality should try to help the guest if possible. They were all but helpful. 2: Room was dirty. The moquette on the floor was full of hairs, dust, even a dead insect. 3: I woke up with a lot of bites, I guess there were bed bugs or something in the bed. I can?t be sure, obviously, I should have catched some bugs and/or gone to the hospital for a diagnosis, but the fact is that I woke up with more than 10 bites on my legs, and this never happened to me even in lower-ranked hotels. 4: The wifi wasn?t free, it costed 19,90$. However I didn?t use it, complained at the check out and didn?t pay the fee.

You do a great marketing...
Liked: The room was really small and the air conditioner really noisy. The sink was clogged and the usp ports did not work. The good new is when I voiced frustration we were moved to a larger room; although I had booked a deluxe room for 2 people from the onset. Basically it was a crappy room and I would never go back or recommend it to my friends/colleagues.
Disliked: See above

Liked: Good location and the room we were eventually given was nice and big (although it was an upgrade)Gym was v good
Disliked: We changed rooms twice as the first room smelt of smoke and the second room was right next to air conditioning unit for the the building which meant the walls were actually vibrating and room was unacceptably noisy (don?t know how that can actually be sold as a hotel room). We were finally given and upgrade but air conditioning was so noisy you couldn?t leave it on at night (that?s a problem when there?s a heat wave in Washington). Also, don?t choose the hotel for the pool unless you are there at the weekend...pool bar is only open at weekends and pool can only be accessed from 9-5 which is very restrictive if you are sightseeing, there is no evening access when bar isn?t open so we were unable to use it.

Liked: Comfortable room.
Disliked: The fact that the hotel panders to the LBGTQRFGOBU (I added a few. But, I?m sure they will be added soon enough) crowd. It is not necessary. I have yet to see a hotel that does not allow a gay person.

Liked: Location was great. Close to public transportation, restaurants, etc. Funky lobby.
Disliked: There was a terrible smell the evening that I arrived. When I opened the door to my room it was overwhelming. I called the front desk and they gave me another room (upgraded to a king with a view)...the smell was in that room, but it was faint. When I woke up the next morning the smell was gone completely. The air conditioning had not been on in the room and it took a few hours things to cool down. I guess my impression of the hotel was strongly influenced by the odor.

I enjoyed Washington and the...
Liked: Its a great location the room was nice, clean and quite spacious, It would have been nice to be able to use the pool after 5pm particuarly after a days touring.
Its a nice hotel I can't find any negatives really it was a nice stay
Disliked: A fridge in the room would have been nice and perhaps some bottled water on arrival and throughout the stay
