Liked: The atmosphere when entering is very inviting and the size of the room (2 queen beds with a sleeper sofa) was bigger than we expected. The staff was helpful and engaging! Overall a nice stay.
Disliked: When we arrived, a small jazz trio was playing (LOUDLY!!!!) but I didn't mind because we weren't staying in the lobby for long. Little did I know that the room I had picked (though on the 5th floor) was directly above the open-air lobby area where the band was playing. Yes, it was "only" for two hours, but it was a loud, headache-inducing concert.Apparently they play on Fridays and Saturdays - the two nights we stayed.Also, the mattress was very soft - not bad - just not what I'm used to.

Nice room but bad housekeeping

Liked: The hotel was BEAUTIFUL! Was greeted by valet upon arrival and the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The bar tender Brian was great. If you want some good drinks and GREAT conversation go see him. He gave great suggestions on places to eat. The hotel is in a great location very walkable. Bourbon St. French Quarters was all within 15-20!!!! Loved it there would definitely stay again.
Disliked: The only problem we had was with housekeeping. Upon arrival there were sunflower seeds on the floor and when I went to take a shower later in the day I noticed a hair pin on the shower floor that I left there to see if it would be gone the next day sadly it wasn't. The 1st day we left the room and can't back housekeeping hadn't been there so I had to call the front desk and he sent someone up immediately. They came on the 2nd day but sadly the FREAKING HAIR PIN was still in the shower. Didn't come at all on day 3 but since we were leaving the next morning I didn't make a big deal of it. But they really need to work on housekeeping. The lighting in the room is not good, there is a full length mirror in the room but because of the lighting you can't use it to take pics in it. Otherwise the room was ok.
