Liked: Got a surprise upgrade. One of the nicest rooms I’ve had in many years - wish I’d been there longer than one night. Every detail thoughtfully covered. I will be back.

Liked: Great location. Very comfortable bed. Quiet building and nice staff.
Disliked: Carrying a big heavy key wasn’t ideal but I’m sure I could have left it at the front desk. There was a light out in the bathroom and the lighting was pretty bad. Not many outlets but that’s because the place was so bad.

Liked: Beautiful hotel. Very welcoming staff and very helpful. They booked taxis and trolley bus tickets. The room was nice and lovely clean bathroom.
Disliked: The hotel breakfast is very basic and not worth the money. We went to the Harvard club next door which was lovely and the breakfast delicious.

Gracious service and old world...

Liked: The staff was terrific - from the welcome I received at the door to the porter who helped with my bags. I felt more like I had arrived at an exclusive private club.
