Given the prices in Tahoe,...

Liked: This was my first time in Tahoe, so I didn’t know what to expect. The Elet is more of a motel than a hotel stuck in the 1980-90s, until you get inside the rooms. Positives: newly remodeled rooms, comfortable bed, and thoughtful details including snacks and toiletries.Negatives: The bed sits on a metal box that loudly clangs when you accidentally step into it. There is some traffic noise as it is very close to the road. Although the air fresheners are a decent smell, they are way too strong, giving me a headache. I put it in the microwave to solve that problem.

Disliked: The heater in the room was too loud.
