Spiders everywhere in my room

Liked: Location
Disliked: Multiple spiders in my room and spider webs in corners of the room. Bar staff weren’t very welcoming or friendly.

Although just an overnight stay...

Liked: all rooms were well equipped and clean.Very accommodating as we arrived early by arrangement and were given the opportunity to use our room to change as we were attending a weddingLet us have our keys and explained late entry to the hotel

Would definately not stay again...

Disliked: One of our party was locked out of his room no night service spent night on sofa in reception. When I complained in the morning was sworn at by member of staff, and told I was not getting bloody nothing Quote.Was contacted by manager who apologised for his member of staff and promised to get back to be. Have not heard from them. Avoid this place my colleague was not the only person who had issues with his room key either.On a positive note the sofa was apparently comfy, but for £110?

Liked: I booked 3 rooms but have hurt my hip so my room was next to the lift. My niece was in a family room which she liked & I had to cancel the 3rd room because our friend was ill

A rabbit warren

Liked: Good breakfast, restaurant looked over the river, hotel located in the centre of town, bathroom recently refurbished, decent sized bath towels, hotel was very clean
Disliked: Staff member misinformed us of latest check in time so we were greeted on arrival by short tempered staff member. The building is a rabbit warren with steep stairs to 2nd floor (the lift has a 3rd floor button which takes you to 1st floor). Our room was extremely hot, even with 2 large fans on, and the window only opened about 4 inches. The bathroom floor got very wet when any of us had a shower as there wasn't enough room to get out of the over-bath shower past the wash basin without opening out the bath screen and water dripping onto the floor. The day of the wedding, it became apparent there was only 1 iron for the whole hotel. On Mon morning as we were checking out to go and get breakfast in the town (the hotel info says no breakfast on Mondays) we were told we had been sent a message that breakfast was available (a good thing) but no message had arrived, nor did it for my relation also staying there.
