Disliked: A little bit noisy on the front late at night until I figured out closing the old sash, double layered windows!

Disliked: Staff quite rude. Water stopped in the middle of my husbands shower and then didn’t come back on. Told staff and they assured it would come on again but didn’t. Left early to shower at home!

Liked: Everything about our stay was really great including the breakfast. I took a mark off one point for facilities as there was an issue with the water in the morning but didn’t really affect our stay.
Disliked: Rooms on the roadside could get a little noisy but didn’t bother us too much

Disliked: Unhelpful staff plus no water in the hotel in the morning so no showers, no toilet flush no brushing of teeth and did not trust breakfast as no water- hotel claimed no water supply in the area but next door premises (KFC) had water and was open

Liked: The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower worked well and was warm.
Disliked: Everything was good.

A lovely place to stay,...

Liked: The room was lovely and perfectly situated right in the centre of Newbury in the Market Square. The member of staff who greeted me was polite and helpful, and suggested a railings in their car-park which was visible from the reception where I could lock my bike. The hotel was quiet and the rooms were very nicely kept, everything was in order. The breakfast was delicious
Disliked: Honestly everything was perfect at this place, couldn't be better!

Overall very disapointing.

Liked: The room was clean and bed linen and towels clean and fresh.
Disliked: Didn't realise that the room would not be in the main hotel. It was very small and pokey and being on the ground floor of an annex it was hot at night because we couldn't leave the windows open as worried about security. When I booked the picture shown and details given did not indicate the room we were given.
