The Edward Hotel is a just 10-minute walk from Gloucester Cathedral and Gloucester Train Station. Fantastic weekend Away in beautiful...

Liked: Lovely car park and outside sitting garden the owner was lovely and welcoming giving us a map and showing us how.to get to the.quays.for. dinner it was very clean and had lots of photos of Gloucester. Our room was lovely and had kettle and microwave in it. Tea and coffee biscuits and milk .a brilliant big fan to cool the room and lovely shower .I loved how.he left a box.with extra milk and biscuits towels outside.your door to respect your.privacy. and help the environment by only using.what we.needed I would definitely stay there again.

If I'm booking for the...

Liked: I have now stayed at this hotel four times in different rooms so this review is for all stays.1. Free parking, very unusual in Gloucester, bonus point for that.2. Very clean rooms and hallways.3. Microwave and fridge in every room, if like me you're on a strict diet this makes life Much easier.4. There is also a seperate kitchen you can use if you feel the need.5. Lots of nice little touches in the room, tea, coffee kettle, biscuits, dishcloth and a small dish-soap dispenser.6. The folk who own the place are very friendly and made me feel welcome and at home every time I visited.

A nice B&B

Liked: The hosts were welcoming and very helpful. Our room was well presented, clean and airy. the bed very comfortableThe breakfasts were lovely
Disliked: At our age we're not fans of showers over a bath. It was quite a step in. There were 2 chairs in the room, but not really the space for 2.

Comfortable stay

Liked: We were made very welcome by the owner, and given a tour, and given directions for entertainment, food and anything else we might need.
Disliked: Tiny thing, the shower was not very powerful. But it did its job and it had hot water.
