Great for a short stay...

Liked: Wi-fi worked great, AC unit blew nice & cold, room was no nice & spacious, rooms recently remodeled & modern
Disliked: The area can be very noisy. You are next to a Main Street & can hear sirens constantly throughout the night that will wake you up. Also, you’ll hear other residents upstairs if you’re on the first floor. Little to no sound proofing

Unique, welcoming, luxurious.

Liked: Everything. Great experience with the owners/proprietors, really well decorated, cool space. Will definitely be back again for visits to see our son at UB.
Disliked: I can't think of anything other than picking nits. Parking, but we really didn't have any issues there as they have a lot and when it was full, it was easy to find alternatives ( which they helpfully suggested!) .

Exceptional

Liked: Amazing and quirky decor. Cleanest hotel we've ever been in. The keyless/contactless check in and out is very nice
Disliked: Nothing to improve

Nice old, small hotel, but...

Liked: Spacious room, modern bathroom, excellent hot water, a/c and wi-fi, quiet neighborhood
Disliked: No live person for checkin (but there seemed to be a hidden 3rd floor where perhaps the owner lived from the sounds of footsteps and maybe a dog running around there -- so why can't the owner handle check-ins in person?), front entry digital lock was a bit finicky, parking lot for only 6 cars for a 9-room property, some of the digital locks had cameras which I found to be a bit creepy.

Liked: Clean and they thought of everything you would need and more
Disliked: I wasn’t really sure how to contact someone For example if we needed more toiletries

Liked: Lovely interiors. Comfortable bed and room. Quiet.

Nice place with free parking...

Liked: It was very clean and the inside was beautiful
Disliked: The neighborhood felt sketchy to me. I am not a city person, so don’t know if I am the best judge. Didn’t know the parking might not be available. It was a first come, first serve basis. We did get a spot, but one of the reasons we stayed was the free parking. If I had known it might not be available, I don’t know that I would have booked it.

Liked: Cleanliness. Comfortable bed..
Disliked: There was no closet for clothes! One flimsy bar attached to the wall with 5 hangers. There was only one chair! At this price I would expect 2 chairs. No rubber mat in shower, tripping hazard. Shower head was fixed, only modest spray volume with no adjustment possible. The chest of 3 drawers had only 1 drawer available for use. The bed was tucked in a corner. That meant one partner would have to crawl over the other to get up in night for bathroom break. Not fun!
