Darcy, Seattle, visiting Bell Harbor International Conference Center Wed, 21 February 2018

The views are truly spectacular. We were celebrating my spouse's 60th birthday. Our room was right on the water. The fireplace was turned on for us so the room was cozy and warm when we checked into our room. We had drinks in the lounge, listened (for free) to live music. Had dinner in the restaurant with a view of the Puget Sound. Food was great. The hospitality was really great, as well. We've already decided we'd like to come back.

Liked: The bed was comfortable. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional. And the bear poof was incredibly charming.
Disliked: It was a little bit challenging to work the heating system. The fan was a bit on the loud side but we couldn't turn off the fan without turning off the heat.

The hotel was Beautiful! We...

Liked: I think both my husband and I agree that the restaurant was among the absolute best we have dined in! Amber, at check in, was exceptional! This hotel was so incredible, and I highly recommend. Hospitality at its best.
Disliked: Only 2 small pillows on a King size bed, next time we will ask for 4 more. A hair ball (almost couldn?t see it because the color matched the tile) was found on the bathroom floor upon arrival to room. Mold starting to grow in shower corners. Housekeeping needs to step up their game. That?s it for dissatisfaction.

Exceptional

Liked: We loved the "Woodsy"but not overly cute decor, and the location literally over the water - also next door to the Victoria ferry. The restaurant is also first rate although brunch is quite pricey, but very good. Staff very helpful. I was able to buy the bear footstool in our room (adorable).
Disliked: Nothing

Excellent stay at Edgewater!

Liked: We were staying at Edgewater before boarding a cruise to Alaska. The location was perfect for the cruise terminal and ferry docks and only a brief walk to most of the shops and restaurants along the water. The bedroom was decent sized, very comfortable bedding and large bathroom. The restaurant was phenomenal - because it was so good, we ate all of our meals there over a three day period. The lobby and gift shop were delightful. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. Definitely will stay here again!

The hotel photos look A...

Liked: It's unique and very Seattle.
Disliked: Sea-view room had view of the cruise ships docking in port 66. Not bad, but for the heavy sticker price (>$700 per night) I expected a full sea view and a polished room. Also, the service was a bit spotty and the bear stool was cute but hilariously dirty and nasty-looking. Again, for over $700 a night, you'd think they could re-upholster the bear stool or at least clean it up. It looked like it was 30 years old! We didn't even get the stuffed teddy bears on our bed like they show in the photos. :(The hotel photos look A LOT better than the real rooms. It's an old hotel, so don't expect anything too fancy. It reminded me of staying at a Jackson Hole or Yellowstone hotel: unique, quaint, old, and very expensive! Be prepared to feel a bit ripped-off.

Exceptional

Liked: The location, comfortable rooms and extraordinarily friendly and helpful staff made this hotel a fabulous place for a family of seven to enjoy Seattle and time together. The view of the waterfront from the lobby and restaurant is fabulous.
