Feels like home
Liked: We stayed here for 2 nights for a weekend getaway. We have been coming to the County regularly for over 10 years but this was our first time staying at The Eddie. It is a real gem! - Beautiful 160 year old house with much of the original style in tact plus some modern touches and comforts. Whoever decorated this home has a keen eye and sense of style. It is absolutely gorgeous. - First floor suite - comfy bed and linens, powerful AC unit, smart TV, super clean, nice selection of reading materials, toiletries smell lovely and are made in PEC (not much storage area for clothes but ok for a short trip)- Common areas like the living room are cozy and inviting; we spent a night there sipping tea and playing Scrabble- Many thoughtful touches like: umbrellas, sunscreen/bug spray, blankets, games - Dining room has tea, coffee pods, juice, fruit at all times of day- Continental breakfast is fresh and delicious: homemade croissants/muffins warm out of oven; yogurts; cereal; fruit; tea/coffee/juice - If you book directly from them, you can also get hot breakfast items such as waffles, eggs benedict etc. But if you book on booking.com, the hot breakfast items are $25pp - Huge outdoor area including free roaming chickens, corn hole, croquet, patio area- Saturday farmer's market is fantastic with locally made gifts (e.g. soaps, pet accessories, candles, jams) as well as food stands - Hosts Alex and Mike are communicative and always around in case you need anything. Their sweet dog Ruby is also around too! Check-in and check-out was very efficient and everyone we encountered was so kind and genuinely wanted to make our stay comfortable.
Disliked: Can't think of anything

We would happily stay here...
Liked: It had the cozy feel of home and everyone we talked to - Mike, who is one of the owners, the chef, and the fellow who helps maintain the property - was friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with any requests. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the property and meeting Ruby, the resident dog, and the chickens in the gardens, who added another layer of charm. It’s in a great location for exploring the area.

Wonderful - we’ll be back!
Liked: This is a wonderful place — a beautiful heritage home lovingly converted to a small hotel and event space, with all the amenities we could ask for, in the heart of wine country. Our host was lovely, and we were welcome to make use of the house and grounds. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Our dog was welcome too, which made it a perfect getaway. We especially appreciated tips from our host about wineries to visit. It was a memorable stay, too short - we’ll be back.
Disliked: Nothing - it was charming, comfortable and impeccable.
