Hotel was nice, but stay...

Liked: The hotel/units seem to be all new or renovated. The keyless entry was nice. The bathroom shower was very nice. Overall the hotel's individual units were aesthetically appealing and sort of cute.
Disliked: The location of the hotel is a big minus in my opinion as it is right on a main highway. Turning left into the hotel from your car is a PINTA. Also due to limited space, parking was a bit separate from the room. Our major gripe with our stay was the noise. We stayed in room 27 and unlike most of the other units, which were separate, this was not and there was a room above ours. The floor near our bathroom made some squeaking noises when you stepped on it. There was some sort of generator we think under the unit that kept turning on and off and the bed would vibrate a bit when it did. The kicker though was the guests above us kept stomping around. We are not sure if the ceiling is just not sound proof or if the people were just loud and clomping around at 12:30 at night. Ironically, there is a small sign that references quiet hours at 10pm. My wife is a light sleeper and ended up taking some sleeping pills in addition to her noise cancelling machine. I on the other hand was up from 12:30-4 after I couldn't sleep. We did hear the cleaning staff at 10 the next morning moving around, so the ceiling must just be on the thinner side. The bed was somewhat comfortable - - a little springy and the sheets were good, but the comforter a little on the hot side. We tried to go earlier in the evening to a local brewery within walking distance, but had to walk across neighbors lawns to get there so we didn't hit by the dangerous traffic in the dark. All in all it was an ok stay and I'm sure it would have been much better if we were in an individual unit.

Liked: The kitchen and living room were clean and cozy. We liked the separate space to hang downstairs and having the bedroom space upstairs. Bathrooms were very clean and updated.
