Uncomfortablely hot

Liked: The breakfast was very good and the staff excellent.
Disliked: Our room was in the attic with a tiny window that was only able to be opened a few inches because of a bees nest in a chimney. It was so hot in the room we felt claustrophobic. We should have asked for a different room.

Liked: The room was spotless and updated. The exterior needs work but the dining room was excellent.
Disliked: The exterior needs some TLC.

Very pleasant experience.

Liked: It was in a good location, had parking, a bar and restaurant. Our room was clean and came with tea/ coffee making facilities. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly.
Disliked: Whilst the food in the restaurant was excellent, we waited nearly 50 minutes for our meal to arrive! It felt as if there were not enough staff available.

Liked: Big room, amazing views from the deck. The lovely girl staff member in the bar during our stay
Disliked: Lots of stairs but that is the nature of old houses.
