Liked: The bedroom was cozy and comfortable, where I slept right through (a rarity). The staff were lovely, and the meal downstairs was delicious.The town itself was a gift that kept giving on every corner, full of history and beautiful landscapes - I may even base part of my next book here.
Disliked: The separate bathroom, though private, was cold in traditional Scottish temperature, as was the hot water that was not so hot.Still, it wasn't enough to sway me from returning. This place is charming.

Liked: Loved this place . Room was extremely comfortable and the food was outstanding. Best of all was the staff and customers who stopped in the bar for the live music and some drinks. Most welcoming people you could hope to meet. Sat with them for several hours and had a great time. Classic Scottish inn and pub.

Nice for an overnight

Liked: Lovely little hotel with a warm welcome, excellent evening meal and nice breakfast at the nearby golf clubhouse in a beautiful little village.

Great value friendly stay

Liked: Very friendly small hotel and pub. Got a very nice meal on arrival. Also the free breakfast was delicious! Honestly couldn’t fault either the hotel or the staff for price hoping to come back.
