Absolutely fantastic the location and...

Liked: Location is beautiful and the cottage breakfast was lovely maybe a few more options for the children but still healthy but maybe that was just my girls and other family members.
Disliked: The pillows was a bit too chunky one was not enough, but 2 was too high maybe lower price as I would like to stay longer had it being lowered

It was a beautiful accommodation...

Liked: The food was artistic, satisfying and appropriate for the location. The bed and bath were comfortable and easy to use and we especially appreciated having a top sheet on the bed. The staff was fantastic.
Disliked: The door locks were a bit cumbersome. Locking ourselves in with a key seemed like a hazard in an emergency situation.

Style but little space or...

Liked: If you like living in an interior decoration magazine this will suit you, but style did not deliver comfort. Very small bedroom severely reduced by inserted shower room, left barely room to move round the bed. Shower very cramped and difficult to use - style overcame utility. Two ridiculously unusable 'chairs' and a bedside table with a bowl instead of a level top - again style rather than practicality. No room for any wardrobe, only wall hooks by the door, and where did you put a suitcase ? Thank heaven for the downstairs lounge, again every item chosen and placed with amusing precision but at least had comfortable chairs. This and breakfast served by a delightful local woman were the only saving features. We say this with regret, and have never had to be quite so uncomplimentary, but unless you do like style rather than a good night's accommodation this is not for you, and at literally twice the price of our next excellent stay.
Disliked: Sadly, nearly everything.

Cozy

Liked: The cottage we rented was extremely nice and comfortable and fully equipped. Breakfast was exceptional, delivered everyday to our doorstep. Our host was attentive and communicative. The area is extremely quiet and the cottage is a short walk to the Red Lion Inn.
Disliked: The only thing we could think of improving is the wifi signal at the back of the house (bathroom, second bedroom, terrace).
