Exceptional

Liked: Great decor, very clean, heating control in the room by a thermostatic radiator which I prefer over those awful fans they have in the ceilings at the big hotels. Great staff, no hassle getting in the front door with a pin, real butter at breakfast, all in all a great stay
Disliked: The bar/breakfast area was pretty cold at breakfast time. Breakfast finishes quite early at 8:30... 9 would be better

Decent, but some details could...

Liked: The room was very clean and staff were friendly and attentive. Very easy to park and pleasant surroundings.
Disliked: The bed in my room was not comfortable, it was too hard and creaked constantly at the slightest movement.The food was very average, considering the high price.The shower in my room took several minutes to warm up and the water pressure was quite low.

Disliked: Cost, room was small bed was tiny. Arrived at 1950 met with *do you need food kitchen closing* I did not eat there. Breakfast unavailable before 7 even though a business booking meant that I was starting in office at 7

Great food, not so great...

Liked: Stayed the night before going offshore, staff are exceptionally friendly and the food was fantastic no complaints there.
Disliked: The single room bed was really small and rather uncomfortable, the pillows literally felt like they were dissolving through the night they had definitely seen their day. Quite noisy internally very eary on with people checking out so overall sleep wasn't good. Not worth the £80 (with bfast, however not starting til 7am, offshore check-in was at 06.45)
