The Downtown Clifton Hotel, Tucson

Lovely, unique stay. The highlight...

Liked: 12 minutes walk to Congress Street. I was seeing a concert there and the distance was perfect to walk. Weather was perfect. Cute bar, very clean rooms, and a A/C that kept me cool.
Disliked: Parking spaces were small but plentiful. Possibly I just suck at parking. Could have used another blanket.

Cute rooms at a fair...

Liked: Great location and a great price...super cute rooms made for one or two. Free parking
Disliked: Water pressure in shower slowed by water conserving shower head..not a deterrent but takes longer to shower

Liked: We enjoy staying here. Very basic accommodations but comfortable and clean. Staff are always pleasant and it is an excellent location for walking to everything happening downtown.
Disliked: Can’t really think of anything.

Cute retro hotel -- price...

Liked: Very friendly and accommodating staff. They were able to put us in an upstairs room since we had read other reviews about noise issues with downstairs rooms. We liked the general feel and vibe of the place, as well as location near downtown. Located in Armory Park, a nice, walkable neighborhood. Hotel WiFi worked well, although it seemed you needed to reauthenticate every few hours.
Disliked: 1) Noise - there was a very loud movie that played one night following a large group gathering in the courtyard. Almost intolerable noise level for a couple hours. Could hear amorous couple in room next door another night. 2) Lack of desk / table / surfaces to place items on. 3) Lack of adequate lighting in the room - some light bulbs were very low wattage. 4) No coffee in the lobby before 7:30am, although you can request a French press for the room.
