Extremely disappointing.

Liked: The grounds are very pretty, and it’s useful to have a lift.
Disliked: Some of the furniture and furnishings are dated and tired. It was incredibly hot and we were unable to open the undoes more than an inch or two. Inexplicably, there was a camp bed at the foot of our bed, which we neither wanted nor requested. When we arrived and tried book a table for dinner we were told there was no food, as there was a wedding taking place. Not great when you’ve been working for 12 hours and booked a hotel specifically because it has a restaurant. We won’t be back.

Liked: Room at the rear of the lodge was excellent and quiet. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast excellent
Disliked: Sadly dinner not as good as previous visits,rather tasteless and slightly more expensive than other restaurants in the village. Only negative aspect of our visit at the hotel.
