The Spotlight on The Dominick Hotel

Luxury Meets Live Music in the Heart of SoHo

Modern, upscale, and effortlessly stylish, The Dominick Hotel soars above SoHo with 46 stories of contemporary comfort. Just steps from downtown Manhattan’s iconic music venues and nightlife, this sleek high-rise offers concert-goers a high-end home base with spacious rooms, city views, and thoughtful amenities like a seasonal rooftop pool and full-service spa.

Why Concert-goers love it

Located in vibrant SoHo, The Dominick Hotel puts you within easy reach of major NYC concert spots and underground venues alike. After the show, retreat to a quiet, soundproofed room with floor-to-ceiling windows—perfect for soaking in the city skyline while winding down. With late 12:00 pm check-out and a central location near subway lines and taxis, it’s easy to catch a late-night set and still sleep in comfortably.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends wanting space and style to pre-game and recover
- Solo travelers looking for a sleek, secure stay near the action
- Couples enjoying a romantic concert weekend
- Fans who want a quiet, luxe space to recharge post-show
- Budget-conscious fans seeking occasional deals on a splurge-worthy stay

Food and Drink Options

With four on-site restaurants offering everything from fine dining to casual bites, you won’t go hungry after a night out. The seasonal poolside bar on the 7th floor is great for pre-show cocktails or post-concert nightcaps. While 24/7 room service isn’t listed, the mini-bar and local dining scene within walking distance have you covered. Sleep in and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checkout.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself doesn’t host live music, it’s surrounded by SoHo’s electric nightlife scene—bars, lounges, and clubs are just a short stroll away. Sip local craft cocktails at nearby speakeasies or unwind at the hotel’s stylish bar with skyline views.

What People Say

Guests consistently rave about the clean, modern rooms, incredible cityscape views, and the hotel’s quiet atmosphere despite its buzzing location. Many love the spa and rooftop pool as luxurious bonuses, and the staff earns high marks for being professional and attentive.

Areas for Improvement

WiFi is complimentary, but if you’re planning to stream your entire concert footage, the premium WiFi comes at a cost. Also, while the hotel’s luxury is worth it, it may stretch the budget for some—though savvy bookers can find deals during off-peak times.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers looking to combine the thrill of NYC’s music scene with five-star comfort and style, The Dominick Hotel hits all the right notes.

Goood but not enough

Liked: I love the location
Disliked: They moved me to an “upgraded” suite, in a lower floor, and the room was where the staff rooms are and the smell of food was horrible! Bed and pillows were comfy but furniture needs to be cleaned or a real upgrade.

Good for people staying in...

Liked: The beds were comfortable and the towels were plentiful. The room was clean.
Disliked: I booked a two bedroom suite however we were given two rooms, One was a one bedroom suite and the other was a separate one bedroom attached by an outer hall. I felt misled by this booking.

Absolutely not worth it—save yourself...

Liked: Honestly, the only thing I liked was checking out. The location is decent, but that’s about it.
Disliked: Pretty much everything else. The staff seemed annoyed by basic questions, the room was not cleaned properly (dust, stains, weird smells), and don’t get me started on the paper-thin walls—every noise travels. Completely disappointing for the price. No sense of hospitality or attention to detail.

Very rude staff, unwillingly working....

Liked: comfortable beds, good views (but not as promised in booking.com or you should get a goot front desk officer who is willing to help you without lying), wonderful amenities and premium feeling.
Disliked: We've arrived early and knew we were gonna wait. The woman with curly hair took my number and said she will text me, and didn't. I turned back at 5pm to ask the room and they said the room is still seems occupied. Tried to give me another room, I didn't want first but then because I was so tired (10+hrs flight and waiting for the room message but nothing came) I said fine. And then the man in charge come and said "oh no actually the room we offered you is booked and the guests are already on the way" and said the room that they were trying to give me is vacant now. How such thing can happen in a hotel? Woman was so unwilling of doing her job and talking to me. Whatever, I fell for their lies but this is neither luxury nor premium. I normally don't do surveys but this hotel staff made me want to write. After the front desk issue we waited for our luggages for 30min. I called guest services and told them to ring the luggage attendant and they didn't until I went back to the lobby for the 3rd time. On top of this, at the time of our checkout I didn't understand something about the invoicing method and asked it to the front desk officer (the other woman one) and she looked at me and talked vilifyingly and rude. And I just tried to understand. She continued to disrespect me and at the end I said "I don't understand this attitude" and walked bak. The only good attitude belongs to the doormen and these staff made me remember this hotel in a veeeery bad way. Rooms can feel outdated in some aspects like lights and stuff but not a big deal. Sometimes elevators can't keep up with the number of guests waiting. You are a luxury hotel, sauna shouldn't be an extra charge....
