Hotel Description
Housed in a Gothic and Renaissance building still showing parts of its origin back in 1319 Dominican Hotel can be found right at the heart of the Golden City close to the National Library and the Old Town Square. Surrounded by picturesque narrow cobbled alleys the hotel is only 984 feet away from famous Charles Bridge and is also very close to all the other sights of Prague's Old Town like the Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock. All the rooms and bathrooms have been renovated just recently and are equipped with all modern amenities but without altering the 14th-century looks with original wooden painted beams in some of the rooms. The entire hotel is fully air conditioned offers a 24-h reception and multilingual friendly staff to assist you at all times.

Staff, room and location were...

Liked: The location was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful. Our room was nice and big and quiet, you didn’t hear the street noise at all.
Disliked: The breakfast wasn’t great. The items were recycled a lot each day so bread was hard and food wasn’t appealing. There were bugs all around the bread, yogurts and sweet treats. The coffee machine didn’t work very well so the coffee was terrible.

Liked: Close to all sights and activities . Many restaurants and shops. Breakfast was good. Some staff was not friendly . They only made the bed really dud to Jean room . Asked them to replace light bulb in bathroom but they didn’t .ver crowded area.
Disliked: Some staff not friendly .

Location was convenient, friendly staff...

Liked: It was unique and spacious.
Disliked: Lots of stairs. We had no refrigerator, lightbulbs not working in the bathroom, no tissues and hair dryer did not work.

Very good

Liked: Very frinedly staff, at reception as well as brekfast room.The hotel is 2 minutes in walking distance from the main square, absolute top.Very quiet rooms, nice architecture high seeling rooms
Disliked: Better communication about parking options.It is almost impossible to find a parking spot close to the hotel.But the hotel offers valet parking and it is not mentioed on booking page.Closest parking lot is about 10 minutes walking distance with suitcase a pain because of pavement in Prague.Hotelname not visibler outside of the hotel / restaurant

Would visit again

Liked: The hotel is centrally located and within 2 minutes walk of the Astronomical Clock and Square. Room facilities are good (great heating especially as it was cold outdoors) and staff obliging and willing to assist, welcome drink on arrival which was a nice touch.
Disliked: Breakfast was quite disappointing.
