Stayed here overnight for a concert at the Arena - Rooms small but spotlessly clean - all you need to get your head down. Excellent staff & Great breakfast. View from our room just Fab. Big plus - we got a smoking room - Bliss!!! Sorry non-smokers - But as a pensioner walking down three lots of stairs in minus 10 degrees or more - this was the icing on the cake!!!!Will definately be back. At half the price of the !Arena local hotels! would happily go there again.

Liked: Only thing I liked about this hotel was that it had free parking
Disliked: The rooms were tiny and very very basic, the shower could bearly take one person and the fact I paid nearly £100 for the night has gutted me

Liked: Arrived and shown room immediately. Ground floor location overlooking the dock was a bonus. Clean and well presented, with all of the essentials I needed for a weekend break. No complaints from me. Will book again
Disliked: Nothing at all. Not impressed with the step out of bathroom (got used to it )

Friendly budget hotel - good...

Liked: Great location close to city centre, Baltic Triangle and Albert Dock, staff are wonderfully friendly, bar open til 1am, small terrace area outside along the dock with views down to Albert Dock and the Liver Building. Breakfast was fine, standard fare for this type of hotel - gave it a miss on day 1 but took the option on the second day as we had a long journey ahead. Room was compact but had all we needed (kettle/teabags/milk) and we weren't in it for long. All in all met our needs for a couple of days - this is a good budget-ish hotel about as close as you're gonna get to the city for this price. Would definitely stay again.
Disliked: Double beds are very small, so if you're used to bigger, book a bigger bed or twins. Bathrooms are modular so there is quite a step up into them if you have mobility issues. They did offer a half step but this would have encroached into the sall room space.
