Built in 1602 The Dog & Bear Hotel in Lenham offers cozy log fires a courtyard terrace and cooked breakfasts. With free parking Maidstone is a 20-minute drive away. The cozy bedrooms at Dog and Bear were visited by Queen Anne in 1704 and feature a private bathroom and tea and coffee facilities. Liked: This was a great location for us on the Pilgrims Way. It was so good to arrive at such a comfortable stop after walking 18 miles from Maidstone..
