Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff

Liked: Room and amenities were all lovely, comfy bed and brilliant walk-in shower. Also love a room with a robe! Really interesting background story to the building and the staff knew a lot about it's history and were happy to show us around, including after the breakfast area was closed, just to see the historical features. Receptionists were also very friendly and helpful after we needed to book an extra night due to my partner having a cancelled flight. We would stay again for these reasons.
Disliked: It isn't the most convenient location to get around central London, mainly because of the walk from the tube. If you are trying to see a lot and hop on and off transport easily, I'd recommend choosing a hotel that is steps away from a tube stop instead of a 10 min walk. Especially if you like to return to the room to shower/change between daytime adventures and evening ones. The hotel itself was lovely though.

Good place to stay to...

Liked: Walking distance to Tower Bridge. Good eating places around. 10 minutes walk to London Bridge Station. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Toilet is clean and shower is good. Especially liked their range of shampoo and shower gel.
Disliked: Lobby looks a bit dark and dreary.
