Luxury hotel near Tower Bridge,...

Liked: Beautiful public rooms. We especially liked the foyer and the bar. Love the way the old courtroom etc have been incorporated into the repurposed building.Staff very friendly and helpful. Special shout-out to Tamang who helped us with our bags and got us a taxi in a rain storm.
Disliked: We found the portrait of Orwell with the top of his head sliced off a little unnerving in the bedroom.

Liked: The size of the rooms, the overall quality of the Hotel. I had stayed in a Marriott years back in London, and was so disappointed with the quality, room, up-keep of the property. So naturally I had very low expectations with my recent stay. But due to our travels for a wedding needed to stay in this area. But so pleasantly surprised of the quality. It renewed my confidence in Marriott again. The staff was so helpful and polite, also appreciated.

Liked: We love this hotel,our 2nd visit to date.It's down a side road,so away from traffic,room is so quiet at night.Staff are lovely.Our room was beautiful, huge bed and so comfy...dreamy pillows.Bathroom was also huge.Products provided,smelt amazing.Such good quality.Robes and slippers provided.
Disliked: Had a hiccup at check-in,my booking couldn't be found,but we got there in the end.Lifts are a bit slow...but grand scheme of things,it doesn't matter.

Liked: Location, the style of the hotel. Staff were accommodating in the respect of an early check-in and a later check-out. The room was lovely and big, and I had everything needed.
