Liked: The location was great. Security personnel did great job. Staff was friendly enough.
Disliked: Was not clean. Found hairs in towels, bedsheets, floor. The hardwood floor turned our white socks black. Baseboards and other things were just dingy. Bathtub shower was small. Security latch above deadbolt was broken and not fixed. No grip in the narrow bathtub, very slippery, can slip and fall. Put up do not disturb sign when we left for the day, came back and can tell a worker came in. Air conditioner had a huge hole in the exhaust hose so it was spewing hot air into room. Had to mess with it to get it situated and reattach it to wall. The beds, i swear, are the ones you find in department stores where they display the bedding. Super stiff and uncomfortable, almost like laying on the floor. Body was sore for days. Pull out bed did not have sheets, saw some faint stains on the mattress. Freezer handle was broken off, really hard to open. Did not know parking was $25 a day, did not tell us beforehand. I think, not sure, that the wifi is only free from 11pm to 6am or something like that.

Pros & cons. Mostly fine...

Liked: Good location. Area is a bit sketchy but that's part of staying on Hollywood Blvd. I didn't have any issues near the hotel. The bathroom was great & a good size. Staff were friendly. Nice pool. Hotel was more affordable than lots of other hotels in the area.
Disliked: Main issue was the temperature of my room was extremely hot. Even with the AC on & even with the weather only being a high of 72ish during my stay. It was very uncomfortable sitting in a hot room which is far from ideal during a vacation. There must be a ventilation issue. The mattress was also pretty stiff. Aside from that it was a solid stay.
