Liked: Breakfast was OK, air conditioning was good, mattress was fine with caveats
Disliked: Room was grotty - hadn't been dusted in a week, housekeeping did not vacuum so the room got grottier over the stay. Dust covered bedside tables. Mould in window, though behind secondary glazing. Bathroom was really gross - got very humid as there was no fan, water sprayed all over floor from shower head as it hadn't been descaled in a very long time. Room had vanity table and full length mirror but very poor lighting. There is no good space to shave or get dressed and do makeup.No way to flag to housekeeping that you don't want to be disturbed- they will try to barge in regardless of what you say as they struggle with English

Liked: We always stay in the Dixie Dean on route south from Scotland and it’s an amazing hotel with fantastic staff! Would highly recommend if you’re staying in Liverpool
Disliked: The rooms are pretty warm and the air conditioner struggles to manage multiple rooms during warm weather.

Liked: The staff…the Everton connection..my room was great loved the split level room as I didn’t have to go to bed when my son did..from Dixie’s granddaughter when I arrived to the breakfast staff one Lady that I interacted with as 1st morning I asked for veggie sausage sorted straight away the 2nd morning I was sorting my sons breakfast & she approached me & asked if I wanted my veggie sausages as for breakfast was a great choice from hot food to cereal to pastries to yogurt’s & then I has a small issue with my key card when straight to reception was sorted by the young man was helping in taking a picture off me & my son in reception area
Disliked: Was slightly loud music outside but wasn’t too bad

Disliked: Wrong room, not clean, no shower gel, nowhere to hang clothes wardrobe door broken, handle missing off shower, loo roll holder broken.
