Liked: Beautiful room lovely finishes - very comfortable bed Dog friendly
Disliked: Change in ownership so undergoing transition. Not much of a breakfast- understandable given the building work. However sad to hear there will be no cooked breakfast when it reopens fully

Room and staff were lovely

Liked: Location is good with a great pub across the square and the room was lovely
Disliked: Not a big fan of the continental breakfast, would have been nice to have a little more choice.

Style over substance

Liked: Lovely building and village
Disliked: Unaware most of the place was out of bounds due to decorations being done. No lounge, bar or restaurant. No fresh milk for tea/coffee. Couldnt see to make it either as inside wardrobe with no light. No cooked breakfast available.

Lovely stay

Liked: Lovely rooms very quaint
Disliked: Would have preferred a cooked b/fast.

The staff are really lovely & the rooms comfy!

Liked: The staff were absolutely lovely, from house keeping to the front desk to the emergency 24 hr chap ( who helped get us back in the room one night when locked out ) everyone was really nice
Disliked: Continental breakfast on the Monday, however I would say both Saturday & Sundays full English was fab

A lovely comfortable stay

Liked: Qwerky, spacious, perfect location. Lots of vintage pieces and just had that different edge to the normal.
Disliked: We ate outside in the evening and when it started to get dark there wasnt much light outside. Adding some cute outdoor lighting would of made it perfect.

Very nice unusually place in a very lovely village

Liked: I stayed in the natural history room and it was more than I was expecting. The door is kind of hidden that makes you feel like you are staying a room that was even more special but having the outside area just made it fantastic. I booked a massage and to say I could not recommend more be able to have it with the one with the patio doors open and in the full fresh air would be an understatement.
Disliked: I pre-booked my evening meal in the property stating I was vegan and I there was only one option on the menu which is fine but to have it state it is with a honey dressing was a bit disappointing and I was not offered any alternative. There was also no set vegan option stated for my for may breakfast but I was able to just ask for things to be left off from the veggie option and was asked if I would like any substitutions. Even with this being said I did enjoy all the food that I had.

Liked: The room (Paris)
Disliked: The staff were hopeless, the food was not cooked (raw meat burger)...personally took it back to the kitchen, showed it to the chef who agreed and throw it in the bin with no apology!!! The table was where we ate was so sticky I had trouble lifting my wine glass off it !!...and the chair I sat on was not fit for purpose!!....ended up eating in the pub opposite. Breakfast......waited 40min..!!....to sum up APPALLING
