I chose this hotel because of it's location to downtown and because I thought the price was fair. The front desk was very rude upon my arrival. They couldn't find my reservation and looked at me as if it was my fault. It took 20 minutes for them to realize that they should call Booking.com. No apologies for the wait. Didn't inform me of an 'incidentals' or parking fee (I assumed there would be charges) and simply charged my card. TV in the room didn't work. Noisy at night. Upon leaving the hotel I asked for the bill to look over before my card was charged. I received rolled eyes and the front desk girl said 'You mean I can't just charge the Visa on file?'. These reasons sound silly but all added up and my interaction was rather annoying. If the price of the hotel was any higher I would have been super irritated.
Liked: Walking distance from downtown.
Disliked: The front desk staff was extremely rude.

Liked: Rooms were spacious. Fresh and clean towels were placed every day
Disliked: Room wasn't cleaned every day, when cleaned it was not cleaned thoroughly. It took 5 days to replenish the shower soap. Dark room, poorly lit. Dirty windows. Poor quality breakfast. Lift was very slow at times. Was charged more than colleagues who stayed for the same duration.

Liked: The location was fine.
Disliked: The day we checked in we noted them we would get an invoice and they positively replied. A day before check-out, we reminded about the invoice and they again agreed to provide it at the check-out. And the day of check-out, they totally refused to give our invoices, claiming that they did not have to give invoices for booking.com reservations, although booking confirmed that the payment of our stay was transferred to the hotel and the hotel was responsible for providing the invoices. Still, we are struggling to get them as the invoices are necessary for our institution to get a refund. We never faced such a situation before anywhere in Europe and the USA, except for this hotel.
