Disliked: Very steep and narrow stairs, which I get for it’s an old house. Was just not easy for us elderly when carrying the luggage up to the 3rd floor

Liked: The bed was very comfortable. The porch was a lovely place to sit and read. The location was central to what we wanted to do.
Disliked: Breakfast was a little confused. Friday there was a set up in the Dewey although the information said it would only be served in the Constance. Friday there was coffee in a carafe but Sat. and Sunday none with no explanation about a Keurig in the pantry. With the bathroom setup for #2 it would have been nice if robes were provided. The TV service was completely inadequate. I wanted to watch a little Wimbledon and the national news but there was no access without paying additionally. At the price charged better TV service would have been expected.

Misrepresented and misleading

Disliked: It was dirty (especially the bathroom), tired, nothing like the photos, and dingy.

I would stay here again...

Liked: Bed was firm and comfortable. Very quiet. Beautiful building and grounds. Coffee, tea, snacks available in kitchen.
Disliked: Room was hot when I arrived. I had to turn on all 3 AC units. Did not like that the bathroom was across the hall. I missed that in the room description (room 8 - 3rd floor). Most of the rooms do have a bathroom inside the main room. No food for breakfast during the week however there is a kitchen with coffee and bagged snacks. If you want breakfast on a week day you have to walk across town to the sister hotel. There was NO mirror in the room. Hated having to cross the hall everytime I needed it. It would have been nice to have a bathrobe provided in rooms with an exterior bathroom.
