Good value if you are...
Liked: The staff were welcoming and the food at breakfast was good and tasty. The location is excellent and the secluded location ensures that there is little noise from outside.
Disliked: As other guests have noted, the Hotel is rather "tired" and in need of some upgrading - perhaps this work is in the pipeline?

Disliked: The hotel was adequate for what we needed but unfortunately the cleanliness was not up to scratch- an old gummy bear was left by our bed. The staff member who we dealt with was very pleasant but there was often no staff available.

We had a bed to...
Liked: We did not have breakfast at the hotel, opting for a local cafe instead. However, some of our group did have a burger and chips on the first night, it was ok but fairly pricey. The staff were nice enough and the location is fantastic, on the edge of Hindhead Common.
Disliked: The rooms and public area are dirty. Skirting boards cakes in dust and push plates on the doors are filthy as are the handrails. I understand it's a difficult time for hospitality in terms of refurbishing, however,, it costs nothing to wash or dust paintwork.
