Meh
Liked: Location, comfortable bed
Disliked: No coffee in the rooms, had to pay for coffee downstairs. There was instant coffee available for purchase in the room but no kettle. The shower is terrible. We were notified at 8 am that there would be no hot water due to a scheduled maintenance. Why weren’t we notified the night before so we could take showers then?

Great staff and perfect location,...
Liked: The staff is amazing. I forgot to bring my ID with me, but they were okay with that. They only asked me to show anything on my phone that proves I am the person who made the booking. Great location especially if you are planning to spend your time mostly around the downtown and riverfront (Waterfire event).
Disliked: The price is high, partly due to the waterfire. Room is small and no heating. They have air condition but as we are now in early October and last weekend is chilly, we were surprise that the heating was not working. The elevator is fancy but tiny. We only had bagpacks so it was fine. For those with huge luggage it will be a challenge to get in the elevator.

An okay place to just...
Liked: The property had a great location, proximal to everything we wanted to do. One of the front desk girls was very helpful and sweet. The bathroom interior design is appealing.
Disliked: The elevator lift was alarmingly small, my partner is a 6ft muscular man and he could barely turn around in there with our 2 bags. We opted to go up the 4 flights of stairs for the rest of our stay. Upon arrival our first key did not work and had to wait in the hallway for almost 20 minutes with all our bags for them to switch us to another room, the customer service lacked urgency. Our room was not functionally designed, when you open the door you walk directly into the bed behind it, hard to get in with any luggage. Very tiny desk space- can’t fit much on it, there was also no full size mirror in room to use when getting dressed and see yourself. The fan, rug and the chair had a film of dust on them. The built in AC unit did not work, after trying with the remote repeatedly, we realized they put a small fan to accommodate for the lack of AC so we slept hot. The television remote was missing the back so we had to occasionally hunt for the battery that would fall out. The photography shown on Booking.com for this place should win an award- I felt like I’d been deceived and it was not the cute boutique experience I was looking for, I regret not taking my own photos to show proof. Only stayed 1 night and we spent as much time as we could out of the room. We left wishing we stayed at the Omni next door for the same price with a better property and amenities.
