A very pleasant and enjoyable...

Liked: Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent room/bed. Good food and drink. Location superb, central for the city. Valet parking was good, my car was whisked away and returned very efficiently as required. I could not fault our stay at this hotel.
Disliked: Nothing.

It was a relaxing stay....

Liked: The location was brilliant. Right next to York Minster and 10 minutes walk from the station. Very central for everything. Lovely quiet area. Room great. We were right on the top floor with a view of the minster. The bells rang for 30 minutes on the Sunday in the morning. We loved it. Breakfast was great. Loved all of it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it.
Disliked: Couldn?t fault it. Price could be a little cheaper maybe but it?s in the centre of York so that won?t happen.

good location, left early due...

Liked: location was central and staff were nice
Disliked: almost everything else- the bed was uncomfortable, the walls were paper thin, the room was very dark, decor uninspiring, damaged bath, felt more like a hostel / low rate B&B which for £209 for one Saturday night felt extortionate.

Perfect, will do again as...

Liked: Room lovely, a little too warm, there was an air con unit in there which is great but a little noisy.We did open the windows but quite noisy outside but it was still lovely in such a great location.The service from the very tall gentleman was excellent, he was everywhere, all the staff were excellent and will definitely be going back. The location was perfect too.Breakfast was lovely too.
Disliked: Just the noise from passers by when the nightclubs were closing but as this is no deal breaker for such a lovely place.You get that in most towns and cities when you are quite central.
