Newly opened in 2011 this motel offers air-conditioned studios and apartments with flat-screen satellite TV and DVD players. Guests have free access to bicycles for exploring the local area. The Dawson Motel is located in the center of New Plymouth just 492 feet from the Coastal Walkway. It is a 5-minute walk to Puke Ariki and a 5-minute drive to Pukekura Park. Each self-contained unit includes air conditioning and a microwave refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. Some units include a fully equipped kitchen. There is an iPod docking station and a private bathroom in every unit. The apartments and guest rooms offer a mountain or sea view subject to availability.

Fabulous

Liked: First time staying at The Dawson & it was perfect. The room was clean, warm & comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate.Cleanliness was of high standard!
Disliked: Nothing not to like!
