Great location for Hoopfest if...

Liked: The food in the lobby restaurant and at the whiskey bar was excellent. The staff work their butts off, service was great.
Disliked: The prices this year seemed to double over last year for the same experience.

We do like staying at...

Liked: Great location and room was large and comfortable.
Disliked: Hard to find a place to park for check-in. Lobby bar area was crowded and loud. Room service dishes were in the hallway for extended periods of time.

Liked: Proximity to the Opera House
Disliked: I wish the rooms had a tea kettle for a cup of tea. One late afternoon I really needed a cup of tea, but the Starbucks was closed. No other option but the bar, some walked around the block to a tea shop.
