Excellent short break

Liked: Spotlessly clean and perfect location for the pleasure beach
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like

Staff were friendly and helpful

Liked: The staff were amazing and very friendly and welcoming. The location was good for pleasure beach, Sandcastle water park and South pier.
Disliked: The bed was the most uncomfortable thin mattress we have ever laid on. The pillows were flat with no filling at all. There was rubbish and cigarettes thrown all over outside the hotel door in the seating area. Mostly down to other guests that couldn't be bothered to tidy up after themselves. Parking was an extra charge to park on a back street behind the hotel which was very expensive on top of the price for the room.

Liked: It was clean and my grandkids loved it so close to train station and swimming baths very helpful and pleasant
Disliked: Nothing

Exceptional

Liked: Staff were great and helpful. Location good straight onto the promenade where you can get the trams or walk up and down the sea front. We used the bar and pool table in the evening.
Disliked: The small criticism I have is I sent a message to the hotel a couple of days before our arrival to see if we could add an extra night and confirm parking details. I didn't get a reply. I also tried to call a few times and no answer. I put this down to busy holiday period.

Passable

Liked: Really nice staff. You can pay for a later check out at desk. Very accommodating.
Disliked: A bit grimey (dirty TV control and random stain on towel) and not a great surrounding area however the street the hotel is on is fine. There's a reason it's cheap. Doors were a struggle to deal with. Sounds of drunks shouting at night but you would expect that anywhere on the weekend.
