Exceptional

Decent Value, but Room for...

Liked: The guest house was easy to find, with clear and straightforward instructions provided ahead of arrival. The room was mostly clean, the bed was comfortable, and it offered good value for money considering the area. There's also a lovely pub just down the road — The Old Mill — which we really enjoyed.
Disliked: The bathroom was quite cramped, particularly around the toilet and shower. To use the shower, we had to open the bedroom door to step in, then close it behind us, which was awkward. During our stay — which happened to be during a heatwave — the room was extremely hot due to the lack of any cooling equipment (no air conditioning or even a fan).There were several cleanliness and maintenance issues: mould on the shower grout, a thick layer of dust under the desk (clearly visible through the cable hole), and I had to carry out some minor maintenance myself — including tightening the shower door handle, adjusting the bathroom door lock, and sorting the seals around the shower connections. While packing to leave, I moved the bedside table to unplug a charger and discovered two small bags containing a white powder, presumably left by a previous guest.

Convenient and clean, but tricky...

Liked: Nice and clean, good room facilities
Disliked: I scraped my front wing trying to get into the rear parking lot - very tight - don’t try with a bigger car

Disliked: Send the mails with the room number and codes not just on the day of arrival but before so it can be read in good time.Alternatively just text the room and code to the phone.
