Boutique Hotel for Potential to...

Liked: The Dahlonega Square Hotel is a charming boutique spot in the heart of historic Dahlonega. The porch rockers, stylish rooms, and thoughtful amenities like a cappuccino machine and fruit-infused water add a lovely touch.Check-in was easy, and we were greeted by staff upon arrival—but they were unavailable later when we needed help at checkout, including access to the luggage cart around 7:30 AM.In short, this hotel has potential, but between noise and upkeep, it fell short of delivering the quiet getaway we had hoped for.
Disliked: While the room was clean and cozy, noise from the guests above was a major issue—even with a white noise machine, we were woken at 11:20 PM and again at 2 AM. The owner did respond quickly, but sound insulation is clearly lacking. I recommend requesting a top-floor room if you stay.There were also small maintenance issues—a loose shower handle, damaged bathroom door, and a broken clock—all of which the owner acknowledged and promised to address.
