Good
Liked: Water in the lobby, easy check in process. The door men where really nice
Disliked: The parking was not the best, extra charges for valet and based on the location this was the only option. The view from the room was of the building next door and nothing else.

Bedbugs, loud construction workers, slow...
Liked: The hotel is well-located, the ground floor cafe and restaurant are nice, and the rooms have a nice modern design.
Disliked: We were woken up before 7am by construction workers on scaffolding attached to the hotel, wildly banging hammers, drilling and using circular saws, right below our window. When we reported it to staff, they said they couldn't do anything about it, as it was the City of Boston responsible. It was ear-shattering noise, and the walls visibly were shaking.After much back-and-forth with staff, they agreed to void our valet fees (but not discount our room), and moved us to a higher room on the opposite side of the hotel. Unfortunately this "complimentary upgrade" was double the cost of our previous room, and they charged us the higher fee until 48hrs of negotiation discounted it to the prior night's charge.Unfortunately, while lying on the bed in that room, we found a bug crawling on it that Google identifies as an American deer tick. I caught it and brought it to the hotel desk, and the clerk said "ugh" and threw it (still alive) into a garbage can. I said "you really should kill it, bed bugs will ruin your business" but he didn't take my advice.We used the valet service several times ($70/night), and it took 30-40 min each time to fetch our vehicle. Once we phoned 20 min ahead, and when we went downstairs, the clerk said they hadn't received our text (though we received an immediate auto-response from the valet service saying the car would be ready in 15.)I hate to leave negative reviews, and we've stayed here once before without incident, but this was a rocky, rocky two days at The Dagny.

Great service. AC needs work...
Liked: The service was exceptional and all the staff was particularly dedicated to our comfort and convenience. Lots of in room facilities like safe, iron, lighting, toiletries, blackout blinds, etc. Very well appointed rooms.Location is right where you need it to be!
Disliked: The AC in the room has some serious problems as it looses connection overnight and has some strange motion sensor that doesn't make any sense.
