BIG disappointment

Liked: Staff at the reception was friendly and helpful
Disliked: NOISE! '4 star' hotel and no soundproofing whatsoever. All the noise from outside can be heard. Garbage trucks, people chatting - everything. Not only that you can hear what people are saying in the room next door. Zero comfort. Zero privacy.Carpets are old and were not cleaned once in a century (only vacuumed, maybe). No duvet covers - they use 2 bed sheets! Location is also not central, a bit of a walk. All of that for $450 per night! To sum up, a rip off tired hostel/2* hotel at best.

Lovely hotel & location.

Liked: Lovely hotel, staff very welcoming, rooms were lovely, great location for our trip for the Boston Marathon, 5 min walk to nearest T station which we used a lot & fanfest area. Nice choice of breakfast in the Tradesman. Would definitely return.
Disliked: Found it strange that there were no cups to go with the Nepresso machine in the room & when asked about staff said the rooms didn’t have any cups! A bit pointless having a machine with no cups… but that was just a small niggle we had.

Liked: I was looking for a hotel during my stay for the Boston Marathon and after checking out the reviews I decided on The Dagny.I have to say it was the right choice, the location, cleanliness and room were all great. Its situated in the financial district which was perfect for my needs and a short walk to the nearest subway.There are also many bars/restaurants close to the hotel so you don't have to venture too far.The staff were also brilliant, Ayoub was great with answering any questions I had before i arrived in Boston and also sorting out my room.The lead concierge John was great, he's such a nice guy and very knowledgable about Boston. He is definitely your go to for getting around Boston and any assistance you may need.I would definitely return to Boston and if I do I will be staying in The Dagny again.
