Hotel was extremely overpriced and falsely rated.

I took my elderly mother to the Opera and The Curtis made it so much nicer! The room was perfect and the location was as well. Every person we saw that worked there, were nothing but nice and smiling. It was great!

The floor themes are awesome! We loved it and toured each floor to check them all out. Room was very clean and the cookie upon arrival was a nice touch. I'm glad there was a noon check-out time, because the bed was so comfortable.

Great location! Would recommend if...

Liked: The location cannot be beat! We were walking distances to everything we wanted to be by including 16th street mall, the ball arena, and union station. At the hotel, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. While parking can be tough downtown, they do offer parking for an additional fee. I am SO thankful that this hotel allows pets! The staff and fellow guests were so kind and welcoming to our dog! The hotel does NOT have a place on property for you to take your dogs out to do their business, but there is a park a block away that works wonderfully.
Disliked: We were on the newly renovated 14th floor and it honestly felt like it was still being renovated. There were paint splatters on the toilet seat, the toilet paper roll holder was not securely attached to the wall and kept falling off, the water temp. of the shower oscillated between too hot and lukewarm without moving the handle, and the overall decor mood of the room was a bit...odd? None of the furnishings matched nor went with a theme and while the theme of the entire 14th floor was DIY, it kind of just felt like they used any leftover material from the other floors to complete this one. For us the price for parking seemed like a bit much (I believe it was around $45 per night) so we found a spot for the weekend on Spot Hero. It was a fraction of the cost and only a block away from the hotel.
