Highly recommended to stay when...

Liked: We had a great stay - the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. We didn't have breakfast at Curious Fox, but did eat their Sunday lunch, which was fantastic. Alongside the roasts, they menu was lovely, with great looking specials and a good wine list.The location was great for exploring Skipton too.

Superb

Liked: Cleanliness of the room and the available facilities, customer service, location. Food was superb. Staff were both friendly and helpful .
Disliked: Steep narrow steps to room but we could have asked for one with easier access so that was down to us.

Had a nice time but...

Disliked: Grubby dated room at £200 pound per night , was expecting much better

Expensive

Liked: Clean and pleasant
Disliked: Cost - very expensive and not good value at £200 pn without breakfast being included. Not happy about that at all.

Exceptional

Liked: Lee & Janette made our 40th wedding anniversary celebrations special. Lovely friendly couple. We felt part of the family. All staff lovely too. Thank you all. ❤️The room & and food were both excellent

Lovely location, pub and restaurant

Liked: Fantastic welcome. The staff/owners were so friendly. Let us leave stuff in room even though it wasn’t ready and before check in time. Car park is really good and secure but has loose gravel which can be a challenge with a motorbike but it was fine and we were happy it was within hotel grounds. Beer garden is lovely. We had an evening meal which we really enjoyed. Restaurant is lovely. Bathroom very clean.
Disliked: Room was very dark. Couldn’t open curtains as room overlooked. The room had a lot of dust and the carpet needs attention as lots of stains.
