Loved the hotel, didn’t rate...

Liked: Everything the staff were brilliant the cleanliness was superb,as was the breakfast. The view from our balcony was fantastic. Would definitely recommend the hotel

You cannot fault the location,...

Liked: Location and view superb! Breakfast excellent value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bathroom very nice and more modern than the rest of the suite. Opposite bandstand was a bonus! Parking fine and handy.
Disliked: Furniture and room was very dated; shared balcony was a little overbearing as neighbours were constantly out there treating it like a private balcony, with them constantly smoking in particular not being ideal.

Liked: Has a nice atmosphere and staff friendly .
Disliked: Bathroom very compact . On the hospitality tray Not enough teas/ no hot chocolate , no fruit teas . Also no brochure or information about the hotel . Very awkward to blow dry your hair . Flex not long enough to reach where mirror is .

Enjoyable

Liked: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The rooms were a bit small / dated - however they are in the process of refurbing the rooms.

It was a very relaxing...

Liked: Breakfast was good, not as many dishes as previous years - fruit, mushrooms and pasteries.
Disliked: Last year we were left biscuits in our room every day, not this year

Disliked: Bedroom in need of updating.,bathroom so tiny.Floorboards creaking all the time in my bedroom and adjoining rooms.

Noisy. No veggie breakfast available....

Disliked: The hotel was very noisy. Dreadful noise in the middle of the night from the next door room. The walls are paper thin. I was awake all night from noise, music and loud talking. The noise was reported by a number of people. I rang reception but no response. Reported to the management the next day when someone was on the front desk. This is a noisy hotel.. other guests also complained.
