Liked: The hotel and grounds are exceptional and the reception, foyer and bar area are very well appointed and most pleasant to hang around in. There is a very interesting amount of books available to read and enjoy. The rooms were both very nice and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate recommending the hotel to even the most fussy of folk.

Just what you need when...

Liked: Breakfast was good. A large variety of choices. Staff very attentive. Breakfast room is stunning with views of the garden. The hotel itself is stunning. Spa options are extensive. Relaxing views and walks. Easy access to everywhere, train nearby, bus across the road and taxi if needed. Looking forward to another visit.
Disliked: Refilling overnight of coffee pods no fridge in the room.

Liked: Its proximity to Belfast City Airport.It’s beautiful grounds.Very friendly efficient staffVery comfortable bedroomThe history behind the building itselfAll the different spaces to sit and enjoy the surroundings.
Disliked: Only one small thing annoyed me.We were in a lovely room called Ennis and in the bathroom there is an illuminated magnifying mirror on the wall which is always a great thing in my books for either makeup or contact lenses.However this one is so high up the wall neither of us could use it!It needs to be at a height it can actually be used!

A very comfortable and enjoyable...

Liked: Great location and lots of great facilities especially the spa. Train station next door was a great bonus!
Disliked: The service on both the restaurant and inn for dinner was very slow despite not being that busy.
