We would recommend the property...

Liked: The staff at the property were friendly and helpful. The room where we stayed was quirky but clean. Pizza at restaurant was good.
Disliked: The stairs case to the top floor bed room is narrow and steep, which made access very difficult. There is no shower but a bath tub in the room. The bathtub looks nice but is slippery to get in and out. Parking on site was said available on booking but it wasn’t the case. We have to park somewhere else though it was 12hrs free parking provided by Woodstock council.

Happy with our stay

Liked: Clean , nice room and large comfy bed, great location for Blenheim Palace.
Disliked: I would have liked a choice of cereal for breakfast. The cooked breakfast could have been better.

A comfortable stay at the...

Liked: We had a very comfortable stay. Arriving after a long drive with our 4 month old we had a wonderful greeting from the team who couldn’t be more helpful bringing all our luggage (no travelling light with a baby!) and upgraded us for free to their largest room, room 4, as it was available. The room was spacious, nicely designed and had con, a huge king size bed with a spacious clean bathroom and shower. The staff were all extremely friendly and we slept very well. The included breakfast in the morning was fresh and tasty. We would absolutely stay again and really pleased with our decision to stay at the Crown. We enjoyed walking the paths of Blenheim palace just minutes away from the front door and the entire village was picturesque.
Disliked: The parking is close by street parking / pay and display car parks with active traffic wardens. We stayed on a Monday so managed to get a space but can imagine it’s quite busy at the weekend so one to be aware of.

Well worth a stop.

Liked: Spacious and easy to find.
Disliked: A little awkward to leave luggage initially as on Main Street but parking short term to do that was possible. Not far to leave car and was free. Very welcoming staff and nothing was too much for them. Breakfast excellent.

Liked: Pillows were very comfortable. Excellent showers - took away all my aches after the Mighty Hike
Disliked: Room was very hot , fan was provided and it helped. However I opened the windows and room was so noisy at night . Next day I closed all the windows and I slept very well.

Lovely Romantic Birthday Get-Away

Liked: We stayed in the attic room, with the freestanding bath. It was wonderful and Peaceful. Bed was comfortable and the pillows were very high quality duck feather, had the best sleep. The air con unit was a god send. The bath was lovely, be aware there is no shower in this room, we liked the fact we had to run a bath and take the time to chill and relax but it’s not for everyone. Staff were lovely, absolute credit to the establishment. The food in the pub was delicious. As were the cocktails. Management removed our puddings from the bill as it was my birthday which was really lovely. Breakfast before we left was so tasty and they put a little birthday candle in it which was so cute! Thank you so much we had such a nice time. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
