Liked: Nice location
Disliked: Cleanliness standard wasn’t great. Hairs on the bed sheets, and rooms smelt musty.

Will stay again.
Liked: The property was amazing, an authentic coach house. The staff were very polite and helpful.
Disliked: The price was a little high but in this day and age everything is so expensive.

Disliked: Felt very uncared for as a 4 star hotel. There was a lot of paint peeling from the ceiling in the bathroom, the blinds were grubby, the side tables marked. The interior carpets in the corridors were grubby and stained

Expectations not met
Liked: Location very good, easy parking.
Disliked: Room very dated , floor boards creaked loudly even when turning over in bed. Breakfast average and bfast staff not interested.

Overall I was very happy...
Liked: Location was marvellous right in the centre of Old Amersham. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The building was historic and suitably creaky!
Disliked: The stair and landing carpet looked a bit grubby. Our room was clean and tidy but lacked a bit of 'glamour'. There was only one pillow each, there were cushions on the bed but they were heavy and hard so not suitable to use. I'm sure I could have asked for more pillows but it was past midnight and I was too tired.
